Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer to join our Core Engineering Team — the architects behind the cloud platform and infrastructure that powers our entire company.

This is a high-impact, high-ownership role in a fast-paced startup where you’ll be leading critical initiatives from design to production.

At the heart of our mission is the belief that credible, visible, and actionable data should empower every GRC team's decision-making. Imagine a world where enterprises seamlessly collect and standardize data from hundreds of SaaS tools, cloud infrastructures, private networks, databases, and more. We bring that vision to life, providing continuous, real-time visibility into their Security Compliance posture.

• Design, build, and maintain high-scale, resilient, and secure infrastructure and platform services.
• Shape system architecture and set technical standards that influence engineering teams across Anecdotes.
• Lead complex technical initiatives, owning features end-to-end — from design through hands-on implementation and production rollout.
• Collaborate closely with other R&D teams to drive cross-platform initiatives and power our product roadmap.
• Continuously optimize our infrastructure to support performance, reliability, and rapid business growth.
• Improve development processes, tools, and frameworks to boost our engineering velocity.

• 5+ years of experience in software infrastructure engineering.
• Proven experience building and scaling traffic-intensive systems or big data processing pipelines.
• BSc in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
• Strong coding skills in Python (or other high-level languages).
• Experience designing and working with distributed, microservices-based architectures.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, production operations, and system design.
